Rebuilding What's Broken
Nehemiah’s story teaches us that a God-given burden should lead us to prayer, action, and perseverance. When he heard about Jerusalem’s broken walls, he didn’t just mourn—he prayed, made a plan, and took action. He sought God’s favor and stepped out in faith, even though he wasn’t an expert. Along the way, he faced opposition but remained determined, building with one hand and defending with the other. Just like Nehemiah relied on his community, we must lean on those around us—our church, our friends, and our prayer partners. Revival and restoration happen when we move forward in faith together, trusting that the joy of the Lord is our strength.
